In 2008, I was hit on the freeway (in slow traffic @ 25 mph) and I was carrying my phone in the tankbag.

The tankbag was thrown towards the traffic and a big rock truck almost ran it over.



Since then, I keep my phone in my inner jacket pocket, where I can get to it, if I'm separated from my bike. Like my 2019 accident.

Lately I put my phone in the tank bag, hasn't fallen out. Will put in my coat pocket if it zips shut.

Well Good evening, was busy installing a new Speed controller in my Mini Lathe which came in the mailbox this morning. It works again!!!

I dunno, sounds like you may want to get a new phone, the current one is clearly bad luck

Since I've replaced the phone(s) several times, nah, I don't think that was the problem.

With riding 125 miles a day, commuting, I just think the odds were against me.
