Morning all, and thanks for getting us started Martin.

14C and fog for the ride in. Folks were camping in the left lane, albeit over the speed limit. The right lane then becomes the new cruising lane by default. It was like driving in Europe, well not quite but you get my drift. We'll see a sunny 26 for the ride home.

Eisenstein's second wife was also his first cousin. I bet that's where the theory of relativity really came from.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 54 and sunny, going to 78, later.

As predicted, we got a bit of rain, yesterday, starting a little after noon and continuing off and on till night.
I made it to the Opthamalogist, where my field of vision test was deemed a success. I stopped at Harbor Freight for a few items, and continued to the gym.
Brenda surprised me with a suggestion that we dine at our favorite BBQ place. Who would have thought that early dinner on a Wednesday evening would be so busy? Everything tasted great, once we got settled in, though, and we had leftovers for later.

Today, I've got a PT appointment, and I'll visit the gym, again.
We'll also pack for our trip north for this weekend's motorcycle races.

Good morning all!
Thanks for another weekday start, Martin.
We removed the bigger trees, (with chain saws) from the area I was asked to mow, Then I removed the rest of weeds etc with the tractor & mower.
I am now officially finished my post retirement park mowing!

Judy’s Celebration of life is August 2nd, here at her cottage. Hopefully it will be well attended.

Currently 57F with today’s high of 73.

Maybe not, it's only in our minds (some of us) Anyway.
Git a brief spritz / sprinkle with our rain chances as I rode home alone, no rain gear required.
With 80% precip possibilities today, I'll likely not be as lucky.
34lbs of dog food was purchased at the post store on the way home, already had the small RokStraps on the back seat, and they held fine. Usually I use the grown-up size.
My pup is beginning to show an increase in random barking, so I gotta figure out some remedy. It's a loud bark, it startles Roz, and the cats scatter like roaches when the lights get turned on.
Not worried about the cats, but no one wants an unhappy wife. At least I don't.
I will say, however, it's a loud, solid, confident bark, and has a nice, deep note to it, and he projects well. No wimpy little, "I think I might bark now" hesitating bark, he's all in with it.
Just unnecessary, is all.
My first cup of coffee was really, really good. I bet the second will be just about as good, and I'm about to find out.
I hope your coffee tastes as good as mine, and we all make it to the weekend.
Not that it matters to our retirees here whether it's a Thursday or a Saturday, but I'll wish the same for you guys.

Those infinitely smarter than I in such matters claim that such behaviour is not random but rather an expression of something that is affecting him that previously was not. It could be anything from an internal influence such as pain, illness, etc., to external such as these cats are really starting to get on my nerves. There are also others who are just as infinitely smarter than I who claim that it means nothing at all and that some dogs just do that for no reason. Either way both groups suggest that paying attention to see if something in his behaviour or environment has changed can't hurt. Sometimes things that we don't even notice are a source of stress for some animals.
 
Good Morning, seems like a good morning for me. Started the day with a body cleaning ( Shower). Opened the gate, 70 F and Mixed Clouds and Blue Sky. Then breakfast and Coffee, and now quality time on the forum. Life is good! So Yesterday was Carb work on the CX650E which is finally holding gas inside them, and bike is actually running properly. Now to Sell it. Today's Agenda, lawn mowing and a ride somewhere. Thanks Martin for coffee and thread, oh yeah we have one of those wash boards, but no instructions on how to use it. Okay Y'all have a great day G
 
Morning all! Sunny and blue skies here with traces of cloud. 19C now, 25C later.

Managed to get some more paint...well more accurately solid stain...on the house yesterday after work. It's starting to look very nice if I say so myself and I oddly enough I do. Still tons left to stain however, I expect this will take several months as I'm doing it in sections.

We have a little hand held device that emits a sound that only dogs can hear but don't particularly like. We've used it to quell barking when it gets a little over the top but try to be judicious with it because we don't want to discourage barking when appropriate.

Late Morning Martin & All from (so far) sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 86F, heading for 91F with "possible" thunderstorms later, in the afternoon. We'll see. :well1: A slight breeze now, but later the winds will be out of the NNW @ 7 to 9mph.

Yesterday we got 0.28" within 30 minutes. So the backyard swimming/mud pool showed up. It's almost gone now. I also changed out my bug company, for my neighbor, who's just starting out. His brother has been doing it for years, down in ST George, so he's decided to start up here. I *might* be his second customer. But he lives three doors down, so at least, if I really have an issue, he's easy to get a hold of. :)

I had to get up early, to meet with a couple of my oldest son's nephews, so they could drop off a few hundred pounds of material (cloth type), that my DIL has been collecting from all the garage & estate sells in Montana. She does come up with some interesting pieces, since most of it is from older generations of seamstresses around her area. Now, where to store it all, once she goes through it, I think it's time to open a Yardage Store! :rolleyes-2x:

Now that I have had my workout for the day, I'm done! :wt1:

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. A Pepsi is being taken care of as I type. :wine1:
