I was still pounding the Snooze button when
@Obo opened the Cafe this morning.
It would seem at least Keith got to sleep through the night, unless he just waited a while to jump in.
Here, it’s 62 and birds are happily singing in the pre-dawn darkness.
The birds are quiet here this morning, and I think I may know why.
A pretty gray cat occasionally roams our back yard, likely some neighbor's animal. As the sun was barely starting to make an appearance, I was sitting outside while the light was still dim, and I heard some squeaking-kind of sound. I looked around, and saw this gray cat walking calmly by a few feet away... with a big fat chipmunk in its mouth. The rodent was still alive, but maybe not for much longer.
It stopped and turn to look at me, almost as if to say, "Look what I found! Breakfast!"
I reckon the birds are taking note.
Haven't spotted a single snowflake yet (at least no meteorological...

),
Now, that's funny, right there!
Yesterday I managed to replace the starter rope and pulley on our push mower at the office. And after I printed the carb, it roared to life at the first pull!
It's the identical model as the push mower at my house. Why can't I fix my own machines!?! It's ridiculous. Two riding mowers and one walk behind mower, dead over here.
But my Stihl chainsaw runs and cuts like a beast! So there's that.
Alright, I'm done. High of 84 today and I'm digging it.
"It's not that I don't want to mow, it's that my equipment is on strike".
