Good morning everyone

You know the deal: Cubano roast is in the carafe, awaiting your pleasure.

It's 71°F in Rockville and rather more humid than it's been over the past few days; evidently a southerly air flow has hauled a bit of the Gulf of Mexico northward. It may get deposited in the form of rain and storms this evening and overnight but at the moment it's just humid- not oppressively so, but more than nothing. We4'll have a high around 87, so this could be viewed as summer's last dying gasp.

Thursday = uke day. I never did show the discipline yesterday to get down to practicing, so that'll be this morning's agenda. At least I did get started on the yardwork that needs doing. There's more of that but it can wait until Saturday.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Cubano roast? Sweet. Thanks Keith.

Good morning all!

An almost crisp 11C for the ride into work, headed to a sunny 29 later on.

Thing2 arrived back at her place last evening, safe and sound. She forgot her birth certificate that she needs to submit with her passport documents, so I guess it's going to be a full weekend with me driving down Saturday after work, then driving back on Sunday. The things parents do, right?

Hope everyone has a great day.

Obo.

Good morning and thanks for the cubano coffee , Keith.

It's 62 and foggy in my part of MA this morning , rising to 80, later.
It'll become partly to mostly cloudy, with a chance of thunderstorms.

We did a lot of nothing , yesterday. I got distracted by the PC upstairs...

Today I'll try for a walk with the dog, and get ready for my next few days at the track in Thompson.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Morning all! Overcast and coolish here. Rain predicted to start in the next couple of hours and then clear up by late afternoon. 14C now, 20C later.

Am working from home today as my wife is heading off to visit sister in law and someone needs to be home with the dogs. Currently fighting with the wifi. May need to break down and buy another mesh unit to see if I can extend the range to my office at the back of the garage.

Obo, just a thought but courier? Or too risky to have them lose the certificate?

Hope everyone has a great day!

G'mornin' from SoMD! It's a muggy 75F/24C as the air tries to wring itself of more rain later today. Got some garage stuff done before logging in along with some delicious cubano, thanks Keith! But was it made from real Cubans?

Got the backyard mowed down yesterday, we'll see if any storms pop up today. I have some ironing to do in anticiaption of next weekend's wedding, starching up my tux shirt to go watch my nephew get married next weekend. Why they (bride's parents) made everyone wear formal attire is beyond me, but they'd better get cameras all ready bc it just might be the last time I ever wear a tuxedo. I'm happy for him, but this is just excessive IMHO. I only hope it goes better than they have planned. Mazel tov and all that fun stuff!

Take care y'all!

Got out of the house early again today, and something in me just doesn't feel right, posting here "after hours."
Like, after I'm already at work.
Maybe I'll get over it.
Maybe I won't.
Anyhow -- rode the ST to work again.
Cool bike!
I like it.
A LOT ❤️.
But I have to get (re-)used to how far over it leans, putting it on the side stand.
Wow.
Wayyyy different than its taller stablemate.
Later.

Morning Keith & All, from a cloudy, Southern Utah!

Currently a few drops of the wetstuff on my office window, we'll see if it develops into actual rain! :well1:

It is 84F, heading to 91F. A slight breeze, but later the winds will be out of the SW @ 15 to 24mph.

@Obo, cool poster, I'll add it to the WeSTOC thread! :)

It was another busy day, I started by taking some stuff to the dump. Of course, they had construction on the only road out there, so that delayed me by about 15 minutes, for both ways. Then came home and mowed & weedeated the front and back lawns. And took the weed killing liquid to the weeds in the grass and elsewhere!

And this morning I was called by the Utah Highway Patrol about WeSTOC 30 and they'll try to send someone by for our Monday Night dinner to explain some to the differences of Utah's roadway and laws.

It looks like we might be heading down to ST George, Chris needs some material to finish a quilt. And yes, it's an important one...

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ & Hot Lemon Tea to start the morning. Pepsi(s) on the menu for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good afternoon, Internet working at the moment. Thanks Keith. Yeah this morning Internet was dropping off, been looking at Starlink. Anyone here use it? Well usual breakfast and lunch, and also got the lawn mowed. So now it's relax mode. Y'all have a good evening G
