Very sharp! I'm surprised with all the tech they are still using a chain, but oh well...very nice otherwise.

I've been asking for something touring oriented but lighter...can't wait to have a look at this Tiger.

Now it's about time for the usual bunch that wouldn't buy a bike anyway to start posting all the reasons why they wouldn't buy it....:D

Hearing from the Triumph rep who services dealerships in my region that the Tiger 1050 Sport is a Euro market bike with no current plan for the US...at least not for 2013.

So we better get going with a letter writing campaign...I'll start.

Sounds like business as usual for the US bike market. Deja Vu, different bike.

Geez, now there's three Triumphs I want.
Roger that! I am amazed at Triumph's cleverness in marketing bikes we WANT, rather than bikes that are good for us (Honda?). From the deathbed to top billing, Triumph has outfoxed even the Germans and Italians. One message almost no one gets is our desire for cruise control. Folks that have 15K to drop on a bike probably want to ride it farther than the nearest coffee shop (Harleys excluded, LOL). I have a Triumphant sense of my future ride......

Loved the previous 1050 Tiger, done a test ride on one, too bad I couldn't find one that fitted my bike-budget (same goes for the KTM 990 Adventure though)

Got an official reply on Triumph's facebook page, it is not coming to the US. Sure makes that F800GT more attractive.
