Timing belt and water pump parts..

Hey gang,

I don’t know if my timing belt and water pump have ever been changed/serviced by the previous owner.

Where are you sourcing parts? Is there a rebuild kit for the water pump?

You can source parts from Partzilla, there was a company that sold rebuild kits for the water pump, however, they are no longer in business. You can source the required bearings and seals with the assistance of Google. Some of which are available at tractor supply outlets.
Timing belts are getting rare, I believe OEM is still available, a couple of weeks ago they were $175 Canadian. Gates T325 may be the replacement, but double check that number

EDIT! apparently there's another company that sells the water pump kit, see post #3.
HappyBikes out of Britain was where I got my kit from a number of years ago for about half the price.

Last word I heard Gates has quit making the ST1100 timing belt.
I would not worry about the age but the miles.
If you've got less than 100,000 miles on the engine I would not sweat the belt.
The water pump and pulleys can be another issue altogether.
But if you are in there for the pump might as well do the belt and pulleys also.
