Timing belt inspection tips?

seems easy enough plug that and make it suitable for a '90~'91 model...

So just plugging that extra vent does the trick? Or is there some kind of rerouting involved as well?

There have been pics of first gen vs later pump designs around... but the 'fat fingering the buttons event' in Nov '25... :rolleyes:

IIRC did some fella from down under go the other way by drilling and tapping the vent into an old style pump case...
So from this the flange, shape and mounting points seem compatible...

Still waiting on the rollers for the timing belt change. Will be inspecting the pump then.

Was riding to dinner tonight and realized I was already out of gas! 😱

Looks like I’m getting god awful fuel economy so looks like tomorrow will be a fueling day.

Not sure exactly what could be the issue but I think a simple carb sync won’t help me when I’m getting 24mpg 😔

Will have to look and see what’s going on. Hopefully not a big issue…
