For Sale Tool for working on forks/seals/st1300

Very simple tool that will allow you to disassemble, rebuild, drain, and hold your forks for you while you work.
Solid aluminum triple tree from a vintage dirt bike.
Simply stick it in a vice, and begin working on your forks.
You will need 4 metric bolts about 2 inches long.
$25 dollars plus whatever shipping costs.

This is the cat's pajamas for working on your forks. I made one out of a 2 x 4 and a piece of threaded rod. I do, however, have a full wood shop's worth of tools. Drilled a hole a bit undersized for the forks, then enlarged it with a drum sander. Ran the wood through my table saw to slot the hole and then drilled a hole through the wood, slot and far side piece of wood. A 5" piece of threaded rod, two washers and nuts finished it off. Had Larry been selling this when I put gold valves in my forks, I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

OK, I had a long discussion with Larry. Great conversation actually. The tool won’t work for me as my ST’s (and the Silverwing’s) forks are 41 mm, so too small for the tool- it will work for the ST1300 which has 45 mm forks (or a hair larger)- I don’t want to take the tool from someone that can make good use of it. Thanks again, Larry!
