I’m trying to be pleasant,
but my mug is empty and science has limits...

G'Day...
17°/30°C, haze, muggy (71% RH in da mornin')...

last night's "thermal thunderstorm" missed me by about 10 minutes on the way home...
the few puddles it left dried out fast on the hot tarmac...
home and office coffee...
all the "heat warnings" seem to have influenced ze GF...
a couple of days ago she dragged a large roll of rigid, padded foil to my place...
by the looks the type NASA would use to protect space-probes from the harsh radiation out there...
anyhoo, she cut precise squares and fitted them to the outside of my apartment windows...
(facing east into the courtyard, so direct sun in the morning, reflecting sun from the opposite building windows in the afternoon...)
I don't mind her darkening the place...
This and my 'mobile split a/c' makes it quite comfortable...
have a good one!
