Good morning, how’s your situation?
You probably need coffee, Kjeldsberg on the pot, self service.

16˚c/61f, some sun, quite calm.

Busy with Peter yesterday, and a rerun today.
Was on the beach for a while yesterday, today may involve some fishing later, learning Peter the ropes…

Have a good one, stay nice!
Stu

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the tongue-twisting coffee, Stu.

It's 72°F and clear in Rockville, and already feels like 74 so I assume it's humid. 86 is the expected high, 65 the anticipated low. For pretty much the entire day the feels like will be ten to twelve degrees above the actual, which will once again have the effect of sapping energy and strength from anyone outdoors. Quite a number of yesterday's goof crowd noted ho drained they felt because of the humidity, myself included, so I'll stay indoors for the most part.

I'll head over to the library this afternoon, to meet up with a new member of the ukulele group. She's returning to the instrument after what I gather is a lengthy hiatus, so I've offered to meet with her for some shared practice time. Lord know I can certainly use the extra practice, as I've gotten quite lax and slack in my own practice habits over the past few months.

Other than that, there's not a lot on my agenda for today.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

This is too early - by far - for my morning routine.
But there's a reason it's a routine.
Coffee or Die, as Black Rifle Coffee Company tells us in one of their stickers.
And I believed that, even before I had ever heard of the BRCC and their routine essentials.
I know Martin believes that, as well.
So thanks for the mountain kettle, Stu.
That's one interpretation, I suppose, because Google suggests "The name Kjeld is a traditional Scandinavian (primarily Danish) male given name that comes from the Old Norse word ketill, meaning "kettle", "cauldron", or "helmet"."
And speaking for me, I know I'd much rather drink coffee from a kettle, than from someone's stinky old sweaty helmet.
Berg always suggests mountain, right?
That's how I came up with mountain kettle, but maybe I'm simply hallucinating.
Haven't finished the first cup yet. So I'm mildly dangerous still.
Hot again today - it's still August - but no chances for rain till 7pm, IF they are to be believed.
Not sure I do.
Got up early to do some work for work, before I go to work.
And this ain't workin'.
This how ya do it.
Get yer Coffee fer nuthin',
And yer kicks for free.
My apologies to Mark Knoppfler.

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee Stu. I mean, what's a fellow to do?

16, overcast and muggy for the ride to work. We'll see 25 with a humidex of 32 and perhaps rain with a bit of sun. Unpleasant seems to come to mind.

Hope everyone has a super day, and remembers to book for WeSToc.

Obo.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Stu.

It's 67 and cloudy in MA this morning, rising to 81, later.
80% humidity, as well.

Yesterday's motorcycle track day went off well . They placed me at turn 1, and I was able to enjoy the show from there.

Back home, we went to a local pub for dinner, then back home for the night.
I finished my current Reacher book, and downloaded the next one.
My laptop decided to turn itself off, while surfing the internet, and won't turn back on. I suppose that I'll be looking for a new one, when we return from Oregon. fortunately, I still have the tablet, where my books reside.

Today, I'll pack for the Oregon trip, and maybe visit the gym.
The neighbor's dog and I could use a last walk, before the trip, as well.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

G'day, folks, and thanks for the kaffe, Stu!

It's another lovely morning here: mainly sunny with some high cirrus clouds and a pleasant 17°C/63°F with no humidity. That will change this afternoon when the high reaches a still-pleasant 25°C/77°F but will feel like 31°C/88°F. Rain comes back tomorrow and with it, another cool-down.

Not much else to report today, so I'll be off. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty
