Two Brothers NEW power tip!

I was doing searches for info on the power tip for Two Brothers pipes and I saw references to the P1R and that it didn't do much. When I went to the Two Brothers site there wasn't a P1R but there is a P1X.

Our P1-X PowerTip? sound suppressor is a recommended accessory for our exhaust systems with M series endcaps. A straight-through sound diffuser, the TBR PowerTip? quiets the pipe about 7-8 dB with no significant reduction in horsepower.

It looks a bit different than the P1R that everyone said was ineffective.

I saw a review with comparrison videos on a GSX forum.

Has anyone else had experience with these? I think I'm going to pick a set up.

I have / had the powertips on my TB pipes. I found that at idle it mellowed the sound a little, but I did not find any other differences than that. I removed them and put them back in the box on the self in the garage.

I have the new power tip. It's perfect. The old tip sound was just too harsh for my taste. Now the sound reminds me of a Ducati.

I've had loud bikes. Had a hog with drag pipes. Had a Triumph Speed Triple (see my post photo) that was setup for the track. But that becomes tiring on a long ride. And that is what the ST is all about.
