Two Brothers or Staintune Exhaust?

No. I stayed with the stock filter. Bike runs well with no backfiring or popping on decel. Not to start a whole string of responses, but the K&N will lean the bike out even more, so I'm good with the 2 Bros and the 60 lb FPR.

Mike, The boys from New Enough called me today to let me know my pipes are on backorder. I then talked to them about the FPR and they were unaware of it. They deal with Turbo City so they are going get me a price of the FPR and a performance air cleaner. In the future they may just offer it all as a package.

New Enough had the best price on the 2 bros pipes. I ordered them on a Monday and they were delivered on Thursday. They came from the Tucker Rocky distributor. Can't say enough about them. Great people to do business with. The FPR was $100 from the TC site, which was $30 cheaper then they previously sold them for. With S&H the total was $114.

Good luck with the install.

I just installed (honda dealer) staintune pipes, FPR 61 psi, K&N filter. I spoke directly with Tom, owner of Turbo City, who rides an ST1300 with staintune pipes. He recommended the FPR 61 psi with the staintune and k&n filter. Hugh improvement with the throttle response, especially on/off throttle at low parking lot speeds. Plus the engine winds up alot smoother and with less effort. It sounds good too. take care

I worked closely with Nate from New Enough and was educating him on what the guys at Turbo City are doing. He worked out a deal for me, which he is offering to our members. I got the Two Brothers M-5 Titanium pipes, 61lb FPR and a performance air cleaner for $910. Shipping is extra but it only cost me an additional $4.80. I plan on documenting my installation which will happen in a week or two.

I installed the pipes this weekend. I can say that they sound great but there is one thing you have to watch out for. They fit great without the bags, but before you tighten everything you have to put the bags on. You really have to right to get the S pipe in the right position so the mufflers do not hit the bottom of the bags.

Sooo.... what do you think of the setup? Performance, sound, etc.

I looked for the items in NE but did not find the Turbo City FPR. I'll try calling them on Monday.

My STeed was OK in SToc form, but with the 2B, K&N, TT61FPR, and iridium plugs now added. I've noticed better all round performance and a increase in MPG, but keep in mined this is in the 65-100+ mph. Was 40-42mpg in SToc form, now 46-50mpg, also this is with 10% ethanol gas. Witch FL is pushing on us here, SUCKS

I put on a set of 2-Brothers a few weeks ago, am running a K&N but nothing else. Must say that my fuel economy and tire life seams to be suffering a lot!
Guess I like the sound of the motor a bit too much! Hope they don't cost me a driver's license.
Anyone else notice a change in efficiency?

You really should install a 61lb FPR from Turbo City. With your setup you have a less restrictive air flow from intake to exhaust.

I have not noticed the bike running cooler with my exhaust because I put them on when it was still cold out. I now notice the heat everyone has been talking about.

I agree if nothing else these pipes should be installed for the sound. They make the bike sound like a bike.
