Afternoon Martin & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 69F, up from 32F and heading for 74F. The winds are already blowing from the NNE @ 8 to 14mph. Later, they will be from the N @ 9 to 14mph.

Happy ST Patrick's day to you all!

My son and his daughter left about 30 minutes ago. Where they are going I wasn't about to follow. I'm not ready for temps around 103F. o_O

I've turn on some plant water, hoping that they early spring does kill them all. I also see I need to fertilize the front lawn, there are weeds coming up already.

Since I didn't sleep all that well last night, I doubt if I'll get much else done today!

We treated my son and granddaughter to breakfast at a restaurant. Great food! Had a Pepsi to wash it down!

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good afternoon all!
I’m really late!
I understand someone named Keith has a BD today!

I also have a hello from “over there” for you lot!
I miss him and his humour!

It was a great travel day!
I’m going to visit with Scott on my way north later this week.
Enjoy your day!

Hope the damage to your neighbour’s property isn’t too catastrophic.
It is only affecting the fence, no buildings and because it was such a miserable day no one ventured out to have a look.

Was it one of the trees you were pointing out to me last summer?
No, further down the fence line well away from my property.

I’m thinking about that “strapped” tree just across your fence. Is that one still standing? Yikes.
Still standing, still strapped, still stupid.

The wind got worse right after I posted and to be honest, I thought the numbers reported this morning were low.

So the numbers are in. Winds hit 120 Km/h, 75 MPH. 320, 000 addresses lost power and many are still without power. As usual, most of the power outages were the result of falling trees ripping power lines down.

As an example, these two cars didn't fair to well.

That'll buff right out, with no one the wiser.
