I’m not "cranky"...
just experiencing a delay in caffeine-based character development... :coffee:

G'Day...

13°/19°C, damp, gray overcast with chances of rain and chances of sun... 🌦️

the severe thunderstorms the media freakishly warned about yesterday, obviously circumvented Vienna entirely...
A little rain in the evening, that was it...

Home Nespresso... ☕
Office Nescafé... (which I need to restock)... ☕

Office... wasting away under florescent light for a paycheck... 💵
Oh wait... there even hasn't been any money transfer this month yet... pfffff... :cautious:
I clearly miss the times out in the field more and more... being outdoors, crafty, creative, producing something one can actually touch...
Yeah, updating product databases and building quotations/offers is also kinda 'important'...
only no one 'sees' the efforts, hence they go by unnoticed and totally unappreciated... 🖥️

over the weather ze GF and I are bound in the cars... dull... 🚙

however, make the beST out of your STart into this new week...

Thx Martin!

Yesterday was a lot of nothing.
Had MIL over for dinner…say no more…
Had a walk in the rain.

Today is launching the boat.
It’s foggy, so I’ll have to trust the navigation app (skippo) to find my way home.

Have a clear one!
Stu

Thanks Martin.
I'm only up due to copious napping yesterday.
Well, maybe some on Saturday, too.
I wrote a sizeable post yesterday, went to copy a relevant quote, and with one careless finger swipe... it all disappeared.
Gone forever.
I was disappointed (OK, I was mad too, but what was I really mad at? The Man In the Mirror.)
Bottom line, the 70% chance of rain for Saturday's dirt clinic changed to 90% overnight, and it was pouring down when it came time to leave the house.
For a few minutes, I contemplated stepping into the rain gear, but with every passing minute my motivation washed away with the water sliding off the driveway.
"At my age I don't have to prove anything to anyone," I told myself.
And I probably went back to bed.
The worst part?
The folks posted pictures in the farcebook group throughout the day... in bright clear sunshine and no cloud cover.
So Saturday night Roz and I went to a combined birthday party for 3 friends, who all have birthdays in the coming days. Alan cooked up shrimp scampi for 8 of us, with homemade bread... which I would have missed, had I gone to that riding clinic.
Still mad at myself for not going to the dirt camp, though.
Hope y'all don't miss your next thing.

Morning all, and thanks Martin for the startup.

It was a cage day for me as well this morning, being's it's only 2C out there. Car was coated in frost & ice droplets. It's suppose dot become partly sunny later on and top out around 14C. The rest of the week looks like it'll warm up to more seasonal temps, but with rain.

After mowing most of the yard (the neighbour came over with his new-to-him ride on and did the larger patch in exchange for air in his tires), there was some tree trimming and sanding / spray painting of outdoor tables and pole lights. That all culminated in a couple hour ride to go get supper out of town. It was still a cool ride at only 12C, but still nice to be on two wheels none the less.

Hope everyone has an excellent Monday.

Obo.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start , Martin.

It's 45, going to 63, under partly cloudy skies.

Yesterday's race day was supposed to be sunny. HAH!
It actually was, until about 2:00pm. it started as a few drops , and then the sky opened up with heavy sideways rain. they pulled us off the track , because of lightning in the area, but as soon as the rain was over , we were back to racing.

I was working in turn 10 on Sunday, instead of Saturday's turn 5. one of the other workers was kind of possessive of that position, and I told the boss that I can work anywhere with a porta John nearby.
I flagged one lowside, and supported the racing with other appropriate flags.

Today , I'll head to Thompson for a car event. it's sponsored by a museum , but one of the other workers says to expect a sleeper.

Enjoy your day ,
Steve

Good morning, all. Thanks for the coffee, Martin.

68/82 and foggy. Some sun today, except for some strong storms around mid-day Looks like a 5 day stretch of fair weather is forecast, starting tomorrow, so my RTE should be sunny and fattening.

Yesterday, the sun was out long enough to dry the lawn, so a 2 hour session on the mower has the yard looking better.

I'm really glad I don't have as much prep, to get up there.
Then again, if I were retired, y'all might have more of a chance.
Looking forward to it, John!!

Thanks for the java . Here in poverty gulch today is sunny already 15 C and going to chase a ball around some real estate today ,some call it golf . Maybe umpire a couple baseball games tonight for a while ,waiting to see hockey start again . Has been a great weekend with grandson who is % and a lot of energy to dispense ,loves to run play tag and have fun . Anyway ride safe and take care EH!

Sleeper as in you'd be bored and sleeping, or sleeper as in an unassuming car shell with a tricked out engine and suspension?

Sleeper, as in there are currently 3 cars on track, and someone's nice Porsche just smacked the wall at the other end of the track.
They're cleaning up the fluid and towing the car as I type this.

Morning all! Gorgeous sunny day with clear blue skies......why the heck am I in the office? 13C now, 26C later.

Rode the bike in today, first time riding since my return from Calgary last week. Still not sure why I didn't peel off early and head up island for a nice ride instead of continuing straight in to the office. Something something bank account but these are the days made for riding. Ah well, maybe tomorrow....

Hope everyone has a great day!

Well, I just got back from taking Teddy to Tractor Supply,so he could get his favorite food. Me? I picked up 40 pounds of competition blend pellets for the smoker.

They just updated our forecast to 10% chance. That means I have a 10% chance of getting an Ark built before it hits.

Morning Martin & All from sunny Southern Utah!

Currently it is 74F, up from 44F and heading for 83F. No breeze yet, and with 83F as a high, we better get something later... and the weather guessers are saying that winds will be out of the WSW @ 12 to14 mph.

Besides church yesterday, nothing to report. Today, I'm trying to get myself motivated to go check out a printing shop our neighbor's family owns. This is for the shirts & stuff for WeSTOC. I'm hoping they will be able to get me some ideas. We have a small sign up so far, which makes things a little tighter for the $$$$. We'll see.

Chris and I need to get things done today and tomorrow for our trip to Las Vegas tomorrow night. I'm not looking forward to being in Vegas, but we get to see our son, so that makes it worth the trip! :)

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning! Pepsi(s) on the menu for later.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
