I was hoping that some kind soul might measure their ST1300 clutch lever as I did in my pic. I had just re-installed it after a 4 year hiatus with short levers. My oem lever
sure seems bent to me. Thank you for your input. Happy riding!

I don't think cast brake/clutch levers take kindly to being bent...they tend to break.

Can we add this to the list of what happens as we age? Bikes get taller, they get heavier, and their levers splay forward?

I taught the beginner MSF classes for eight years. I have seen PLENTY of bent (and broken) levers (and pedals). It's amazing the different ways newbies find to dump a bike!:rofl1:
Only newbies? I have found some new to me ways to bend things, age and experience helps too.

Mine measures exactly the same - 4" at right angles to the bar to the inside of the ball end. It will not move away from the bar any more than that.

I checked my clutch lever against my (new) spare. It is still the same shape (70,000 miles ish).

You guys rock! How did STumped get a hold of my tape measure? Appreciate the input. Things are certainly changing after 65. I walk funny. Eyes like different glasses. Belt doesn't like my waist, likes my butt. I'm talkin now like Ma Kettle! However, I am not a senior citizen. That's for old folks. heh

That's why I put dog-leg levers on my Hondas with hydraulic clutches. I also had some modified GoldWing levers on my ST. They're not longer made but I'd have a pair and a spare if they were.
