Good morning everyone

The hotel coffee is fresh and ready, and not enirely undrinkable. You'd be best served by helping yourself early, before the ravening hordes awake and descend on the pot.

It's a cloudy 53°F in Altoona PA, set for rain starting around 1000 and continuing into the wee hours of Sunday morning. The high will be just 57, so I'm glad to have a full slate of in-the-building activities today.

A total of ten members of my Thursday group are here. We all went for dinner together yesterday, along with a stray whom I had met last August at the uke fest in my town. Aterward we enjoyed the evening concert put on by the various workshop instructors, who demonstrsated their vast and impressive skills. Not one of them covered Tiny Bubbles or Tiptoe Through the Tulips.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning all!
Thanks for your start, Keith!
Yes, I’ll participate in hotel coffee!
Then I’m off to meet with the gang at our general store!

We had more rain overnight, it suited me as I fertilized the lawn yesterday.

Currently 4c improving to 11 today.
I also trust Steve & those with issues get on the mend!
Enjoy your day & remember what Keith signs off with!

Mornin’ y’all. Thanks for the coffee, Keith.

61/77 and mostly cloudy. We received a short sprinkle of rain last evening, but not even enough to wet the driveway.

I attended the grandson’s piano recital last evening, which is always entertaining. He’s only 12, and was only upstaged by a high school senior.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.

It's sunny and 37 in MA this morning, becoming cloudy as the temperature rises 54.

I'M HOME!

We left the hospital a little after noon, and it felt so good to be back.
Brenda did some shopping after we got back, for some other meds and adult pull-pull-ups.
The shower felt great, though it took a bit to sort out my catheter bag and shower entry and exit.
I slept most of the rest of the day, and plan on doing the same, today.
It's a challenge to keep off of my left foot, so I'll just keep it raised on the recliner.

Have a great day,
Steve

Good morning all, and thanks for the wake-up, Keith! Glad you're having a good time!

We have a lovely, mostly sunny day on tap with a current temp of 4°C/39°F (alas, it only feels like 1°C/34°F) and a high of 14°C/57°F. The grass is greening up nicely in our little enclave, and green shoots are popping up everywhere. It'll still be a while before we see any leaves on the trees, but the flower beds that get the most light are sporting pretty crocuses, daffodils and tulips (with no one tiptoeing through them). It's spring!

@STooRay: Yep, they got my good side that time!
@steve3b3: Welcome home! All the best for a speedy recovery!

Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Sometimes hotel coffee is better than no coffee, sometimes it's not. Thanks for the contribution, Keith.
Glad you're enjoying your musical escapades. I haven't picked up the fiddle in too long, so it's safe to say I haven't improved.
Except those who listen to me play, may opine that me not playing IS an improvement.
Pfffttt.
A local bike shop is having a "grand opening" today, but i think it amounts to a name change. They have advertisements for discounts on stuff I don't need or want, but maybe I'll go.
It's drizzling now, after light rains overnight that were supposed to be violent storms.
They missed it. Again.
But we do need the rain, since we still have a couple wildfires burning around the state.
About to the end of my first pot of coffee, and I reckon that will do for a while.
Other than that, I'll find some things to do, and find some other things to be left undone.
And just like that, Neil Young's lyrics pop into my mind. Powderfinger is one of my favorite Young songs, and if you haven't heard it in a while, dial it up on your music app and check it out. I like the guitar solo... simple but effective.
Yeah, so much left undone...
"Shelter me from the powder and the finger
Cover me with the thought that pulled the trigger
Just think of me as one you'd never figure
Would fade away so young, with so much left undone
Remember me to my love, I know I'll miss her"

Thanks for the start Keith it sounds like a good time you've been having and sounds like some people around the continent [North America? or is the whole thing a continent? not my area of expertise] are having some kind of weather
We've been doing alright oblivious to the prairies right now where most of our relatives are managing a second winter
Glad you made it home Steve always feels good to make it back I find whatever's going on
Will be the maiden voyage of the newly partially refurbished gotta be a sixty year old U Built utility trailer off to the dump and get some dirt....
Will have add a pic of the new LED tail lights later
This is so exciting !!! :run1:
Wish everyone a good one and a safe ride if you're able watch out for guys pulling trailers

Good morning in Altoona Keith! My step-dad was born and raised there. Ive been 2x in my life, though never for the surprise Chriatmas visit he so many times dreamed of, but I digress.
28°f warming later to 55, but with lots of sunshine, so I will take it. Nice looking greenhouse Bob, dont mind if you drop by and leave one at our place
Happy to hear you made it home Steve, take it slow and mend all the way. Sorry for all baggage, BTDT.
Thanks for always being there friends. Its always good to peek in to your comings and goings.
Like Keith says... let em know you love em.
Tim
