2005 ST1300 p and there are two connectors that look Factory sticking out right above the coolant reservoir bottle. Test light doesn't show any power. Curious if anybody can tell me what these may have been for.

Not remembering off hand, but I ran power through it and blew the fuse, I have it for a meep meep horn on the 3 switch. If you have acces to the service manual and the wiring diagram, it is all in there. Somewhere here I posted about some of the trial and many errors.

You can do a lot with the P electrical system and never need to interact with those two connections.

I need to step up a get a manual assuming I keep the bike .

PO had a heating element put in front seat so I thought I'd wire it up to one of the on/off switches one i verify it's operational.

I’m thinking I had to use the power from the 5 pin in the factory connector and use those to connectors for “ground” so it would work on switch 3. I’ve been known to do things the hard way.

1,2,4,5 are easy enough, yes manual with your year included is highly suggested.

You can send trigger voltage through the switch pod to a relay for your heated seat.

This is good thread about the P power. The smart riders here helped me through it.
