HELP! I have a USB stick that was recently used regularly and has stopped 'responding' to inquiries. The message states that the USB contains an unknown file system and is unusable without formatting, which will cause all the data to be erased.
I have tried downloading several data recovery programs (Ontrack EasyRecovery, Recuva, etc) to no avail.
Running Win10, 64-bit format as far as I know (the letters one) and have tried using C: prompts to change the disk letter and to also check the disk, also to no avail. I'm not tech savvy when it comes to this sort of thing, so will need step by step, if at all possible, to regain the data on the drive and hopefully move it to my harddrive or another stick.
TYVMIA!
