Utopia backrest

Has anyone installed a Utopia drivers backrest on an ST1300 and how did you like it?

I put one on and have been happy with it. That was 17 years ago. As I recall it wasn't to difficult. So they are still making them I assume.

I'm curious if anyone has one of their backrests with a Russel Day Long seat and if they fit together.

It installs onto the rear stock seat. If I recall correctly you need to take the seat cover off to install it and then staple the seat cover back on. It wasn't too hard to do. My front seat is a Sargent. I had my stock seat Spencerized (still have it) but just was not right for me.

I have a "Grasshopper" backrest, and picked up a RDL. I was easily able to install the backrest on it as well, but I found it VERY uncomfortable and removed it.
