WA: Tag

If this were a baseball game, it would be called a rain delay. I can't wait for beautiful warm dry sunny days!!!

HEY.....!!!! Who's bogarting the tag..????:) . JRob...????? :spank1: ..........

Jeff wanted to plant it on Tuesday....but he got sidetracked. Read the thread.."How many STOC does it take.....".

Otherwise......he would have planted it. :ang1:

He's got a plan... you can see a little twinkle in his eye when he's talking about it... if I didn't know him better, it may scare me.

I wonder if he's thinking Olympic Peninsula???

Snag: Per the tag, 2 sites visited. You can't drive into the Davenport site due to it being the ‘UFO Database'. However you can drive right in to the Sprague site.

Site #4

Will drop a new tag in the next week when weather cooperates.
Question: Is Site #4 the NEW TAG?

New WA tag. Sorry Westsiders. I was hoping to move it to a more centrally located spot but I'm now sick so I just wanted to get it planted.

Old Tag: National Weather Service Office - Airway Heights
(it was cold, overcast, and sporadic showers expected)

New Tag: Wild Horse Monument (just outside Vantage, WA. Accessed off Eastbound I-90 only)

This is a tribute drop to JRob. He was going to place it here the ride I got my flat tire. That put a kink in things and when we got back we had several days of unridable weather. Then he gets sick enough to call in sick to work for the first time in years... then passed it on to his family.

Well... we're getting rain and snow for the next three days. But, we were in the upper 30's to mid 40's today and sunny. So here is a drop for Jeff fulfilling his intent to get it closer to the West side.

I hope you (and your family) will be feeling better soon!!! :wt1:

Enjoy :dr11:

Wow...what excellent choices in motorcycles I must say......:)

Rules are...pick up the last location with a pic of your bike. Then find a spot you want to drop the tag...with a pic of your bike.

Did I say you have extremely Superior choices in motorcycles........

Join us for STOC-TOBERFEST or NEWSTOC..!!!

colinW1981 must have picked up a really nice Red one....

And if able, the two events ToddC mentioned above are worth every penny of admission.

Here's the old tag on Pe Ell, and the new tag across the street from a post office. Hint: think salt off hwy 12.

The hard part about hiding a tag is that only locals will know where it is. Google found the business in Morton, WA (salt... I get it!).

I'm thinking someone should run out and buy their wife some roses. Maybe girlfriend, or daughter.

Too far for me this week, but someone coming over to NEWSTOC should grab that thing!!!!

Nice to see you out Dew. I was looking at the map and noticed the road in Paradise, just north of Hwy 12. Ever been on it? Worth the ride? It looks fantastic on the map....

That's a beautiful ride through the park Longmire to Paradise, but is not one to do on a weekend, heavy traffic. Regardless the scenery is unmatched, but always beware whilst riding in the park, the rangers are usually aplenty. I love the ride up 410 from Naches to Chinook Pass and beyond. Coming up the hill is a great place to twist the throttle with plenty of room for passing. Cayuse pass, hwy 123, is a great ride to, I've seen black bear real early in the am close to the campground.

I left the tag intentionally on hwy 12 so it would be easy Pickens for someone heading over to the sleepfest, uh i mean Todd's event.[emoji23][emoji23]. Wish I was going. Maybe I'll make the next. I actually rode through Morton and out a couple miles and remembered I should leave it there and turned around. Elbe was the next town, but I knew it would have been out of the way for anyone traveling to Todd's Casa.

For the longest ti.e we had the tag on this side before so many joined in on the fun from the east side and I'll be sorry to see it go. Just means I need to get out more.

Hopefully someone will grab Zillah to, I'll be in that game again for sure. You all have fun now!
