Good morning!
Welcome to the coffee. Better get it before Brenda unplugs everything.

It's 68 in MA this morning going to 83, later.
We'll be in OR by mid-day, where the temp should reach 88.

I never made it to the gym, yesterday, but did manage to walk with the dog in the "Outback". There were plenty of mosquitos there!
Brenda had bowling last night, so I took the opportunity to get out on the Wing for an hour or so.
I never was able to resuscitate the laptop, no matter how long I pressed the on/off button. Integral battery, so there was no removing and re-inserting.

Today's our travel day, so you know where we'll be for half of it.
It'll be good to see the family on the other side of the country.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Morning all, and thanks Steve, for the coffee. Safe travels.

It's 18 and humid here, somewhere around 300% I think. Not a lick of breeze and a humidex of 23, although it feels warmer. It's supposed to sun-up later with a temp of 26/32. We'll see I guess.

Not much else on my docket today, other than the backlog of the last 2 weeks I had off, plus all the extra stuff. It'll get done, or it won't. We'll see, this too, I guess.

Enjoy your day, be good, and have some cake if you get the chance.

Obo.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee Steve, safe travels, and I'm sorry to hear about the dead laptop.

It's 65°F in Rockville, the coolest we've seen in I-don't-know-how-long. Later it won't be so cool, when the mercury tops out at around 97 under sunny skies and humidity that will make it feel like ten degrees warmer.

My ukulele get-together yesterday was canceled when the other person emailed with a family emergency. I played for a while on my own, but did it at home rather than traveling to the library as previously planned.

Speaking of plans, today's is: dentist at 0900 to ~1999 to fit a crown to the implant installed a couple months ago, 1048 - ~1500: goof, 1600-1800: more goof, then dinner with the second goof crowd.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

@ibike2havefun 1999 could be construed as 20:39. If so, there's no way you're making goof, more goof, or 2nd goof dinner.

I'm sorry to hear about the dead laptop.
I've gotten my use out of it. It has an SSD +HDD, but the SSD is the smaller drive and is my C: drive as well. I'm constantly being warned about low memory, so I don't mind that it bit the dust.

I've got an old Toshiba that I've been threatening with a Linux install, and might do that, when I return home

Oh, look! we have a "new" barista today!
Well, this is exciting. Thanks, Steve!
Y'all don't forget to tip.
Here's a tip: don't wear lace-up hiking boots to the airport, if you're going through TSA.
The psychological pain of getting up an hour earlier in the morning, has a nice payoff when I leave an hour earlier in the afternoon.
Which reminds me, that's a great reason to finally do away with government- mandated, so- called daylight savings time.
We can make our own DST simply by adjusting our start- and end-times by an hour.
Now, there's some Southern Sense for y'all this morning.
As for "times", and "sense", I reckon I'm familiar with military time and 24-hour clocks, but I couldn't follow Keith's clock management, but it must make sense to him.
Never knew things were so different in Maryland. 🤣
Now in fairness, I hadn't had any coffee yet, when I first read the post.
Still, I'm afraid to go back and read it again, due to the possibility I may not be able to figure out that use of clockage.
Anyhoo... as I got up earlier to get to work earlier, I should take advantage of my psychological pain this morning and move along.
The radiator fan switch is due to arrive tomorrow, so there's my weekend plan.
"The secret of staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age."
~Lucille Ball
Huh.
And here all this time, I thought the secret was to ride motorcycles whenever possible.
Oh well.
I'm sticking with MY plan.

G'morning all, and thanks for the coffee, Steve! Safe travels, you two, and have fun!

It's a lot cooler in my neck of the woods today and we're back to splish-splashing about under overcast skies. We have a current temperature of 20°C/68°F and we'll see a high of 22°C/with a feels-like of 26°C/79°F. The rain should come in the next hour or two and will fall steadily, punctuated by thunderstorms, until late afternoon. An indoor day is in order, methinks.

Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty
