I recently purchased a 1991 ST1100.
It’s silver (not super shiny yet but I’ll work on that…).
I was wondering how I can view/ enter my bike to the SSMST RegiSTry.

Does anyone know how to do that?
Maybe I can find who my bike’s previous owner was!

Sorry if this is a super basic question. I’m quite new here.

Thank you!

I'd never heard of this before, so I had to google it. Here's what I got:

Based on your search query, it appears you are referring to a registry for Shiny Silver Metallic ST1100 (SSMST) motorcycles, a specific color variant of the Honda ST1100.
  • Registry Keeper: The registry for these specific motorcycles is maintained by a user named John OoSTerhuis. @John OoSTerhuis
  • Context: This is often used within enthusiast forums, such as st-owners.com, to track specific, rare, or sought-after model years and colors of the Honda ST1100 motorcycle.
  • Action: Owners of these bikes are advised to contact him to check their VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) against the registry.

Thanks!
Yeah, I found an old thread mentioning it but I’m not able to send him a message… is it because I’m too new to the forum?

It is my understanding that John does not reply to PMs. Since @Obo mentioned his name here he will get an alert and probably show up in a bit. If you use a screen name in a post with the @ sign before it, the site puts a red number by the bell in the top right hand corner of the screen and a drop down menu will show his name was mentioned in a thread.

Ohh, I see. Thank you for the advice! Will keep it in mind.
Still learning.
