What ST1100 tires are best?

I decided on the Shinko 011 Verge in 120/70-18 size for my ST1100-A after all of the great recommendations. My last 2 AV55s wore fast and the last developed a nice set of bumps running along the center of the tire. RZ had a great price of $75 out the door (with 10% off) so I'll see what this tire delivers for my moderate ST 1-up riding habits.

Quite the tire thread. Just wanted to add I love the OEM Bridgestone G548 and G547 tires for my 02 ST1100. I was able to order them today through Chaparral thankfully. For me the two were much harder to find this time.

That would be very narrow. Stock size is 160/70x17.

No!
That tire is very narrow and small. The second number is the tire hight measured in % of the tire width. So you got 70% of 110 instead of 160 ( way smaller diameter). Also the load and speed rating will be way lower on that tire.
