Is it worth getting the MCL Adjustable Foot Peg lowering Brackets $119.98 or the MCL driver foot peg extensions $63.95. It's only half and inch.[h=1][/h]
With the stock pegs I occasionally drag a toe when cornering; the toes of my boots point downward. I am hopefull that with a bit more leg room I might keep my feet a bit more flat. I have never dragged a stock peg on this bike and hope I dont with these instaled. I'll keep you postedKeith,
Thank you so much for your response. I have a size 15. Are they hard to install? Are you concerned about dragging them?
Both the brake pedal and the shifter can be adjusted. If you adjust the brake pedal, you'll also have to adjust the electrical contact for the brake light. I installed the MCL lowering brackets earlier this year, and couldn't be happier. With the lower pegs, and the Gen 3 bar risers, I find myself in a very comfortable position on the bike. Can the brake pedal be adjusted?
I wear a size 14 and have the same issue with my toes making contact and dragging on the road before anything else. I was trying to figure out if moving the pegs up, a half, to 1 whole inch would help resolve that issue. I also have a problem with my heal touching/pushing down the center stand foot pad, which is not comforting either then I think about the center stand possibly making contact in a corner. 4: Hasn't happen yet, thankfully. With the stock pegs I occasionally drag a toe when cornering; the toes of my boots point downward.
