I have let my ST1100 sit for too long and now needs carb work. I live in SW Minnesota and would like to take it to someone I can trust. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Mike

The starter of the thread.Just curios what does the OP banner on the icon mean?
I believe that is the feller I was talking about. You can try this guy: https://thecarbspa.com/. He's pretty active, and a moderator, on the Honda Magna forum (https://v4musclebike.com/) where I'm also a member. He might be able to help.
Okay, that's the one I was thinking about - I was confused and my memory has been corrected! The guy below always received very good reviews for anything related to Honda V4 carburetors. He has been used and recommended by members of this site in the past. You can buy Honda V4 carb. kits from him or send him your carburetors and have him do the rebuild for you. His website no longer works but he is on Facebook. I don't know if he is still in business, you will have to check.
The below contact information is from an old post on this forum so I don't know if it is still valid. The facebook link is more recent. Worse comes to worse I am sure that he isn't to hard to find with a search.

I found (at least for me) the 'pulling' job a lot easier if I removed the fuel tank. Thanks everyone, if I had to pull the carbs myself I might as well do them myself. I'm going to try Uncle Phil's advice. I found a really good carb removal and rebuild on the ST Archive of Wisdom. I think it originally came from STOC. But won't pull the carbs as Phil advised.
Hello all,Pulling the tank is easy, watch the wire on the left side of the tank. Good idea to clean the inside of the tank if it has been parked for a while. G
