Re: Rear Tire question
This tire now has close to 10,000 miles on it, so far I rate this tire to be one of the top rated of the four I have tried. This tire still has over 50% of thread left on it. One other rider that I know tried this tire and had problems with it rubbing on the swing arm, there must be a huge difference in the thickness of the swing arms where the seam is welded as some riders have had different brands of tires that will rub and some won't. There have been some riders who have flattened out that seam oh the front right side where some tires will rub, one friend I know marked the area and took a grinder to knock off the thickness and then sanded the area down when he was trying to install a Goodyear tire, he said it was an easy thing to do. Not sure if you will have any problem or not. I hope that helps.
970Mike,
That's an awesome looking tire. How many miles on that tire now. Can you give an evaluation?
I am familiar with CT's and have run several on my Valkyrie. I just didn't want to go through all the trials again to find
"the right one" for the ST1300. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
