The fuse blew in the up position and I changed it. It went up and down perfectly. After riding with it up I got back and the fuse was blown again. This has happened again since. Any suggestion?

Thanks dave. However no problem after I change the fuse and move it up and down. Only after I ride does it blow again.

Likewise, 2004 ST1300, the fuse blows every now and then. The bike is going back to the importer for a thorough (sp) investigation over the winter.

Somehow I managed to fix the problem. I Worked out since that I had installed a J&M CB and routed the wiring as well as connecting an accessory circuit I might have pinched the harness somewhere. I traced the windshield circuit from the fuse looking for chafing. Could not find anything but when I put it all back together the problem seems to have gone. Who knows for how long but so far so good. Must have moved whatever was causing the fuse to blow.
