Has TV gone full circle?

Stations were offering only scheduled content paired with advertisements, and you had to wait a full week for the next episode...

So we gladly welcomed streaming services...
what a joy, binge watching an entire series with no interruptions... 😎

but they caught up...
now we have to bear adds plus have to wait an entire week for the next episode... again... 😒
far worse: movies and shows are now scattered across dozens of different networks, requiring payment of multiple subscriptions... :oops:
