I've noticed a couple comments now and then about not wanting to pay "motorcycle boot" prices and a number of posts about not wearing "motorcycle" boots.

This looks like a decent deal for a boot that would afford some ankle protection for those who don't want to wear a taller boot. I have an older pair of Wolverine 6" boots that I wear. Or maybe you just want a kickin' around boot when your not riding.

The one bike accident I had ,1985 , I am grateful that I had a pair of boots covering my Ankles, or the bumper of the Ford pickup truck would have torn my right leg apart. Lucky only a very painful bruise. Learned a few important lessons ( now my personal rules for riding)from that accident, but that's for a different thread.
