This morning my coffee machine emitted a brief noise that sounded like a scream...
I froze, stunned, like I had just received some bad news...
Please don’t do this. 🙄

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's foggy and 68 in MA this morning, rising to 77 for today's high.
The fog will burn off, but we can expect showers and T-storms after noon.

I made it to the gym, yesterday, while Brenda mowed the lawn.
She also did the edge trimming, but didn't do around the walk and driveway, so I took over and handled that.
Dinner was at a local watering hole, and the scallop dinner was excellent.

Almost forgot that we cleaned up the house, after the weekend's activities.
I also moved all my stuff back upstairs, and we reset the "play room" back to its original confiuration, since I can navigate the stairs.

I never got out for that walk, yesterday, so I'll try for that, again, before the expected rain.
Gym, as well.
Today is Brenda's bowling night, so we'll find something in-house to eat.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the start, Martin. Hope that Nespresso machine survives.

It's 72°F and partly sunny in Rockville, with rain / storms possible from noon through 2200 hours. The high will be around 84 but will feel like 93.

I'll continue puttering today, finishing up the unpacking and putting away tasks generated by my trip. No need to rush things, as Mrs. Fun isn't due to return for another couple weeks.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.
 
Morning all, and thanks for the squealing coffee Martin.
Still on my first cup, smashed Snooze for almost an hour, at 10-minute intervals. My mind is still cloudy and slow. When I am sleeping, my body and my mind take it very seriously. Oddly enough, if I were riding on a trip, I would wake right up.
Perhaps my day to day work doesn't hold that same level of excitement. When I was out at RawHyde a couple of years ago, I popped up early every morning.
So there's that.
While my cerebral cortex is foggy, the air is hot and moist, but bright and clear. Yesterday I rode solo through a light morning drizzle, and the afternoon storms were a ...uh, miscalculation?
Bad guesswork?
Flat-out lies?
Today there is a 20% chance for afternoon popup thunderstorms, so we'll take our chances with Kaiser and the trailer.
I'm running out of rambling material, so I'll stumble (carefully) back to the coffee pot, which I do not respect, although it has behaved for a couple of weeks now, the paper basket filter standing up to its task, no overflows, and no grit at the bottom of my cup.
Got to hand it to the roasters at Black Rifle though. Consistent flavor, and consistent high performance in clearing my mind and straightening my steps.
Slightly shocked, and mildly surprised that July is nearly done. The acceleration of each passing day, and each passing month, could be depressing - or even alarming - to some, but I can't change it. So I'll just pack in all the living and enjoying each moment, as best I can, while it lasts.
So as I sit out on the porch sweating lightly, I'll wish all of you the best day you can have.
 
We got high temps yesterday; it was 100F and very high humidity early in the morning. Thanks, Martin, for the cafe. Here in MN 68F very nice morning, not so humid- but it will warm up to 80F later on. I will give you guys some of the report on my move to Georgia's trips; it's almost finished. A couple of loads will be done by my 58 Chevy truck; it's somewhat put together since last weekend, and my two bikes are ready to be moved to Georgia on a bike trailer soon. One more trip of MNStock by next week, I will call it done with the bike! That's the news for now. Have a wonderful day, y'all!

It was a road day yesterday, did the Woodstock lawyer thing in the morning, the new place closes tomorrow.

Somehow, a 4 ton tandem hydraulic farm trailer followed me home from Cambridge @ 70kph!
It took forever!

Morning all! Mixed bag weather wise, overcast here, a bit of sun there. 15C right now, high of 21C later, along with some rain possibly.

Working from home today. Went out to the ST yesterday to find it had a flat and had to take the car to work. So I'll see what the problem is and try to get it fixed in between doing a bit of work work. Plus, then I don't have to pay to park the car. Did I mention the Scottish ancestors?

Morning Martin & All from mostly sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 89F, heading for 95F. Promises of thunderstorms yesterday was all wishful thinking for us. There were parts of Utah that got them though. And today will probably be the same. The winds are already at it, coming from the SSW @ 6mph. Later they will be out of the SW @ 14 to 21mph.

Got a few minor things done yesterday. Today a trip to WallyWorld, and I'll see if I can get a few things done in the garage. No need to work outside, just too hot.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) later.
