Thanks to C.B. Shahan, I now have a SK Flowmeter available for anyone that wants to pay the postage to and from the Holler.
Good one UP, if you need, give my name out if yours is not at home and someone needs it asap.
Thanks to C.B. Shahan,
As far as I know, he still is. He is in his nineties now but still a great gentleman!Hi UP. I see this is a very old thread and I was wondering if C.B. is still alive today? I remember him from the days of My-mc. and he was quite old then.
Without going back and reading stuff about carb balancing, I think I do remember that this is not the best way to do it however?
You'll have to remind me when May come!I've never done this Phil, cuz the bike just always runs great.
Maybe I could grab this from you at Der Dutchman in May, and give it a go?
Would I need anything else? (other than instructions!)

OK, time to do some homework.
Michael - I don't know the answer on that one, but John O might want to jump in as he has much more experience on using the other devices.Hi Phil:
I have a question: Can a 'Carbtune' manometer be used to sync the carbs on a ST 1100? That is the tool that I use for throttle body syncing on my ST 1300 - but I have never done a sync on my 1100.

Depends on who's doing the 'preferring' ….Yes, that would be the preferred method, over using a flow meter. I've used a Morgan Carbtune on my ST1100 a couple times.

I'm glad - this could turn into the next longest thread after a moly, oil, or tire thread …I'm not biting...
