Hi, I need to change valve seals on my st1100L, because is consuming oil. Can you explain me how to do that? Thanks
1What is the mileage? I would do a compression test first to check piston rings and valve sealing. Not an easy job to change valve seals, you must remove the springs which means removing the whole head...unless you find a way to compress them from the top.
Thanks, maybe a good solutionGiven the current low prices of used parts for the ST's, I would imagine a good used set of heads to be less expensive than valve work on an existing set. Looks like they are running around $90 each ATM.

No, I am leaving it like it is. I dont have mechanic skils for that job and its to expensive for someone to do.Did you end up changing the valve seals ?
