We have a member in our midst that I think deserves some recognition. Zooker13 has reached a milestone that not many others will ever reach. Anytime you can log a quarter million miles on one motorcycle you have done something right.

I think I met Ken the first time at Moonshine 2011 and then again at OzarkSTOC 2011. Ken's not the kind of man to bring conversation either by contest or by bragging. With a post count of 69 I think you can understand when I say he is all business. Serious about his riding and serious about his ride.

If you read Ken's bio he has spent 35 years wrenching on the Big 4 from Japan. I'm guessing that has something to do with his ability to rack up 250K and still have a bike that looks brand new. It probably runs better than mine! Stories like his should find their way back to the Honda Company.

Let's give Zook a big round of applause for letting it all hang out when it comes to motoring on two wheels!

I took the liberty to steal these photos from Womantriker. Typically, she doesn't mind if I do so.

Here's Zook doing his best:
"You want a piece of me" impression! :D

Ken was in attendance at 666 STOC.
Does that bike look like it has 250,000 on it?

No, he's not trying to tell you his is 7 years old.
That is 2 - 5 to the power of 1000!

Way to go Ken! Keep on truckin'!

Congrats Ken!.. just converted your 200k award for a 250k one... I'm thinking I only have 6 months before he posts 300k.. LOL

That is incredible. I guess I ought to hang on to mine a bit longer. Would be nice to hear what type of maintenance / repair his bike has gone through over the miles.

Great job Ken.

Hope to see you at a few more STOC events. Moonshine, Ozark, Ferry and CampSTOC would do for starters. Hope to see you soon.

Ken turned 250 K on his way to 666 STOC. While here, did a valve check on Don's bike in the CattGarage. No parts left over. :D

He rode the rides, joined in the camaraderie, and ate his share of the victuals. Just another guy in our community. With a LOT of miles on his ST. :D

Congrats on the new award, Ken.

(Ken's bike is the antithesis of the 03 with 17,000 miles, for sale at the new Victory dealership on Kingman. :D)

Ken took a couple of pictures of his odometer. Womantriker, Rick and I pulled over at the point where it rolled. He casually mentioned at the gas station in Kingman he would be pulling over in about 32 miles to catch the event. He had just stashed his camera when Carole had him flash the 25. Congratulations Ken!!!

That's simply awesome!

It would be nice to know some of the particulars; how many tires has he used? How often does he change oil? When is he going to trade in for the next one? ;)

Congratulations Ken. When I saw the bike at Campstoc 2011 it looked so clean and tidy you might think it had 25,000 miles on it rather than the 240,000 or so that it had then.

I PM'd Ken to ask if he minded that I posted this. Haven't heard back from him. He's probably riding or in the garage. ;) I'm sure he'll chime in here. When I asked at OzarkSTOC what has been done in terms of repairs he quoted very, very little. I think he replaced a swingarm and it was not because it needed it. I don't think the engine has been opened up. Pretty amazing!

Now I'm going to have to go another 117,365 just to catch him! :D
