I have a 93 st1100 it's been great bike recently it got stolen when I got it. Back the ignition was gone so I properly installed toggle switch and everything been great going on six months well week ago the dash lights went out haven't figured out y put everytime I put fuses n meter tail position it blows so I haven't put one in there in week or so. But here's current problem yesterday went out pushed toggle into on position nothing happened so I pulled side plastic off and saw my solenoid plug was melted so I'm n need of that but I put jumper wire from starter wire and touched battery side neutral oil and side stand light all came on fired right up had to use jumper 2 times again today but now all jumper wire does is turn motor over no power getting to dash lights so it won't start should a new solenoid plug fix this

Especially if it's a 91. :) (BTW, mine has the 40 alternator in it, which turns out to be irrelevant) Tried to start the bike ( still not riding, but I needed to move it) and... dead. Symptoms. Turn on key. Nothing. Actually, something: the clock blanks out. Check battery voltage. Looks good-...
