Clear lenses for the front turninglights ST1100

I received my lenses a couple of weeks ago - finally got them installed. I used clear silicon instead of hot melt glue as I wasn't too confident I could get it all in place before the glue hardened.

The fit was just like the factory lenses - although I have a few stab wounds in my hands from (slightly carelessly) removing the old glue from the housings.

Definitely gives the bike a fresh modern look compared with the factory lenses.

Holy moly! Those look great on a white ST! It will be a sad day in Mudville when ad sells the last set of lenses and another 1100 asks where he can get them.

I would love a set for my 1100 please, I’m ready to order the switchback kit from lightenupgrade, nice wee job for the winter.

Hi,
recently got back aboard an ST1100 - last had one n 1996 and forgot how great they were. I managed to source a lovelt 2002 ABS with 22k on the clock in April and put 4k on her already. Now thet the gritters are about to muck up the roads, Ive parked her away for winter, and will spend the nasty months doing her up a bit. A set of these lovely cler lenses would look great..... can I have a pair please? Can you PM me re the details?

We in Holland were talking and writing with other Pan European Forums why Honda did not make clear lenses for our ST1100.
Now i invested some money into this and found a mould maker and he also makes clear lenses.

In order to get out of my costs in making the mould and making the lenses i would lik to offer eacht ST1100 driver the opp. to buy from me 2 clear lenses only for the turninglight for the amounth of ? € 32,50 (excl. shipping charges).

In 2 weeks i shall post some video's with the amber light and with the clear lights.
So if some-one is interested please let me know.

Kind regards
Ad Ploeg

Folks, I just installed my set of clear lenses. Required pretty hot water to loosen the old glue and a judicious application of clear Shoe Goo to hold the new ones. 2 color LED bulbs and electronic flasher off ebay complete the update. Great addition to STerling.. still haven't got the carbs sorted though.

Just updating the thread: I bought a set from another member here who didn’t use them (jdmmccright): I used the wife’s hair dryer on high heat, took my time, and the glue released well.

I like them quite a bit (just got the LEDs last night so installed them today after putting the lenses in last week) so I wrote to Ad and bought another set for the 2000 ST…he told me he has about 20 sets left and after that he won’t be making them any longer. Also, he doesn‘t have them for the 1300. Those switchbacks are 1157 LEDs from SuperbrightLEDs.com.
