I agree with you. I ran several sets of PR4's. Every time that I bought a new set the price had taken a significant upward jump. It got to the point where the price was no longer justified. Two sets of Shinko Verge 011 are just a bit more than one set of PR4's. I am on my second set of Shinkos and have no complaints. I actually find them to be quiter than the PR4's....... will not fit a PR4 again (not worth the money ......
And?Cross section of Shinko 011 at over 15,000 miles.
I'll guess that he's impressed with the amount/thickness of rubber still left on the tire after that mileage. And?
you can fit a 130/70-18 on the front but the tallest tire that will fit(rear) is the stock size. They don't make a 170/70, a 180/60 is actually smaller. I had a 190/60 but had to do some modifications . You're stuck with stock sizes. A 170/60 will fit on the rear but it is smaller.Hi all, I am thinking of changing to Pirelli GT 2s on my 2000 NON-ABS ST1100 but they don't appear to sell the correct sizes. What sizes do you run if you have fitted these? I would like slightly higher profile tyres to the BT023s I have run for the last couple of years.
Thanks Al, I guess I might try the Bridgestone T32s and see if I get on better with them.you can fit a 130/70-18 on the front but the tallest tire that will fit(rear) is the stock size.
