I don't have an issue wth the mileage; I actually get about the same on my ST, something between 16 and 17 km/L or lower if there is much fun to be had squirting out of corners. The issue is that the MT tank starts flashing the low fuel warning after about 13L. The ST has 25L or so before the low warning i.e. twice as far. The comfort seat is great, a good shape and broad, not especially squishy. The rider triangle on the MT is probably better than the ST. The MT, for all its ludicrous power, is much gentler on tires than the ST as well.
I think I'd miss the ST's fairing and be looking for that in a new bike.
