[h=1]HONDA HEATED GRIPS KIT 03-12 ST1300 08T71-MGS-A30 08T70-MCS-R60 08A30-MCS-100[/h]
Honda dealer on ebay is claiming this kit fits ST1300. I have looked at numerous threads discussing the old non reliable OEM grips, some for the NT700, and even a newer number but have not seen this kit and part numbers anywhere.

Anyone that can shed some light on this particular kit? Not interested in aftermarket and hacking up wiring harnesses. I'll pay to plug and play.

So the grips are going to be 1/4" short and leave a gap between grip and weight?

That's what I get from the thread.
I have the Symtec units and they work great.
I don't think I'd like a switch that I have to hold down to change but that's just me.

Symtec under BMW grips is hard to beat. I have run that for years. Though my current 1300 has the Honda ones. Should they fail I will use the Honda controller to drive the Symtec under BMW grips again.

One of the problems with the original Honda ones is the grips are wired in series. So one grip fails, they both do.
