@Bush , seems I'm OK.
- New mirror installed (screwed) without problem.
- New mirror cover is a perfect fit. Even the color match.
- New mirror spacer.
All OK.
Maybe I should go and buy a lottery ticket.

Everyday I read on the ST sites where someone has dropped a bike and grenaded a mirror. Those things must be getting as hard to find as a 40 amp alternator bae plate. I love my bike, and wonder at 28 years old...what's next that we won't be able to get?

Today I almost did it. I was dropping off my 13 year old son this morning. Just down the street from our house we were stopping. Asi came to a stop he leaned right ant through me off. I somehow managed to catch it at just about a 45 degree angle. My son froze as I yelled get off the bike. Finally he jumped off and I pulled that pig up. I talked with him after that about what to do if the bike goes down before we continued. All was good till the night when he told mom what happened. Kid needs to learn when to keep his mouth shut.
