I think I have a leak

Not sure what this plastic sleeve is from but I found it while scrounging around the garage. We'll see how long it lasts.

Went out for a test ride. I don't smell coolant nor see any streaking

I also see a nick or damaged area on the left hose at the bottom of the picture above this writing.
As well as at least three points where the hose(s) are laying on, or are going to wear against the metal fasteners they are resting against.

Your frustrated enough, wait for the new gasket.
Have you considered replacing the t-stat housing?
Is it pitted badly, causing leaks?

I did replace the t-stat and housing. I had a minny geyser at the top of the cover. Ordered the gasket and while trying to place the cover back on the gasket tore. 2 on order this time.

Can't close the thread because who knows when it will come back but two days of riding without smelling coolant burning is fabulous.
