Glad you're OK Todd, it sort of links into the present ABS poll, although it doesn't seem that bike was so equipped.
Be careful y'all, if it isn't bugs it's riderless Yammies.

Bikes can always be repaired (well mostly). Good to hear that you are all relatively intact, it could have been a lot worse. Best wishes for a full recovery to the fallen rider.

Glad you're both OK.
Saddlebags are the wrong place for your gear.
I think that Yamahog will live to ride again.

It takes just a moment of inattention for things to go from a great ride on a pleasant day to utter shite.

You said it best, could have been worse, need to pay attention, wear the gear and skills need to be practiced.

Deer. They're crazy.

Once a deer is seen, even if it's from the back bounding into the forest, you can't relax. They just do strange things.

I'll admit that big cruisers allow my head to go into cruise mode while sport bikes keep me in the game. Glad your friend is fixable. As for the bike, it's time to strip it down to power train and seat.

Ya Bob, I posted this on the NEWStoc thread last week. Then I found this thread and added it. T

For a moment there, I thought I was having an out of body experience. Thanks for clearing that up! o_O
