From the ones I talked to who were there, being there and remembering what went on are two different things ...
Something about 'Better Living Through Chemistry' being the reason.
BTW, 'historians' estimate there were about 400,000-500,000 people in attendance so 1.5 million people (at least - 'millions' means at least 2 million) are fibbing!
I wonder what oil they were using in their VW buses?

I'm intrigued, I have a 20 year old unopened bottle of Golden Spectro synthetic 20-50w that I used to run in my XR600R, Now I want to check it out. That oil kept my engine spotless inside with next to no wear. I wonder if it's still available. But curious about shelf life now...
