As in my post about the new Honda Hawk 11, anything that looks vaguely like John Surtees would race it works for me.
I would also echo Uncle Phils comment about the ST1100. I much prefer the lines of the 11 vs pretty much any bike, which is why I bought one. It fits my eye extremely well.
Never had interest in a cruiser (love the “sagging in the middle” image!) and the insectazoid look of most new bikes simply don’t resonate. I enjoy the Yamaha and Triumph engines but not the bikes they come in.
As someone else pointed out somewhere, that’s why all these various bikes exist: we can all enjoy the experience through different expressions of the art.
Now the fact that Phil and I are right about the ST1100…
