Also if you like oysters, the Umpqua Aquaculture Oysters just north of Ungers are the best oysters I've ever had.

I'm all set to get this TAG on Thursday, the 26th. Then, I check out the Oregon State Parks website and read this, "DUE TO PAVING PROJECT-THE ENTIRE PARK WILL BE CLOSED 05/26/2015 THROUGH 06/28/2015."

They have just ruined a perfectly good day at the beach!

The tag game is a riding game which is why it is in the Riding Forum \ Games. I'd bet Mellow would agree if you took a picture of the park entrance it would work in place of the actual tag. The Oregon tag doesn't move enough as it is.

If you planned to go on Thursday, March 26th, you should definitely GO RIDE! The weather is supposed to be perfect.

The announced closure is for 05/26/2015 THROUGH 06/28/2015....which is MAY-JUNE

If the road is by chance closed, just get a pic with the lighthouse in the background and explain the closure...I do believe that'll do. Salmon Harbor Drive, the road down below the lighthouse has good views of the light back up the hill.

And if you do ride this Thursday....snag a V for the Oregon A-Z game while you're at it.

Rode through there last fall. I loved the road from Oxbow to Cambridge Idaho. The Oregon side to Baker City wasn't bad either!

New Tag...an easy one to find...and very easy to get to....with plenty of fine roads on the way.

My son was in the classroom next door to where the shooting happened.....which was WAY too close for comfort!
