Owner lost key. SOL??

Take a picture and save that key code. It can be cut easily. Take a marker and write the code inside the non-locking compartment in case you don't have your phone on you. Most locksmiths won't cut without proof of documentation matching registered owner.

I was able to get a perfect duplicate on ebay using just the key code. Even more convienient than going to the locksmith's. o_O

When I had my ST1100 I put the key code in the address book of my phone, it is still there though I don’t know who bought the bike after me or if it is even on the road at this point.

My key code is eight digits long. Isn't D70 just the key blank number?
I don't think that you could have a key cut from that.
