So finally I got the replacement and.....No more fuse popping!!

The package shows the key with the transponder in it.
I removed it and put it in my old key...that way I only needed to replace the HISS unit around the ignition setup, and not do a major strip down to replace the locks.

For future searches, ECU is only tied to original transponder chip in key. Just need to replace ECU and transfer matching chip to your original keys to re-use your existing locks. HISS ring is just generic antennae that reads data off chip. It’s same generic part across all bikes and doesn’t need to be swapped.

How did you go with replacing ecu Don, did you also have to get a new key programmed up...Lawrie
Hi it went well, the O2 sensor input on the left side went bad. I jumped it to the right to confirm the bad channel.
No need for any key that I recall.
