Following the posts for info.... returning from alaska mid June choice of 99 or 1 from clinton.

I have always loved the frasier canyon 1 since I first did it in my VW bug in 1971, but for a motorcycle ride 99 is the one to take.

I'm doing Hope to Whistler (12+99) mid July. Can't wait. Then off to Vancouver the next day. My wife doesn't like too many hours of riding, so I hope the Hope-Whistler leg won't kill her butt.

Did this ride, Cache Creek to Whistler, on the way back from precovid Dust to Dawson on a 2001 ST. Outstanding scenery. Whistler was the most expensive tent campsite of the entire 14 day trip. Enjoyed a refreshment at the Pemberton Brewing Company. Great beer. Other than Lolo Pass, Glacier National Park, and Lake Louise, the most scenic and fun ride of the trip.
