I've had Beemers and a Guzzi (1971 V7 Sport; red tank, four leading shoe front brakes). I liked the Beemers, they were smooth and refined, but I loved the Guzzi. It had impeccable road manners, was lighter and quicker handling than the Beemers, and I never had a lick of trouble with it in over 42K miles, including a trip from Seattle to Boston and back. Yes, I did have to change the oil and adjust the valves once in a while, but it was a fantastic ride and the only bike I've owned that I wish I'd kept.

If the V100 is less than 575 lbs. weight, I will consider it a replacement for my ST1300. My 11K+ mile ride this spring taught me I'm getting a little old for horsing a 750 lbs. bike around.
