Shipping out of boston!

Now, now, they have cell phones and the cops are near!

Yeah, don't take any chance Michael. :rofl1:

Wich bridge are you talking about ?

One of my favorite entry door into US, is the blue water bridge, in port huron, MI. Then, thru the 69, all across michigan, toward Indiana.
On my way back, I've slept at the KOA in Saint-Joseph, west of Kalamazoo, and just a few miles from the shores of lake michigan. Nice KOA with plenty of tall trees and shade.

I'm enjoying your ride, so far, and looking forward to more.
I was on a mission to get to OR on a schedule, and the Macinac bridge was only doable for me by going thru Canada, so no-go. I'll visit eventually.
I'm glad to see you're smelling the roses, so-to-speak.

Enjoy the ride,
Steve

Got up this morning and headed out for coffee. Grabbed a few sun shots before i left. At the store, at least five people walked up to me and had questions about the bike and my travels. Mighty friendly around here.
So, im a yuuper! Went over the bridge and my front wheel was everywhere! Kept it straight and plowed on! The right lane was mostly closed so i was grating most of the way.
Im on rt2 west, which heads north for quite a while. I feel like im heading into no wheres ville again, which i really love. 16FB63AE-0A38-4966-BC08-25AD8EA2755D.jpegCE85792A-308E-4AB2-BFC9-6C12E129CBC4.jpeg27992ED8-B2E2-4E31-A457-664500BDAE65.jpeg

One thing's for sure on that bridge - the 'grate' ain't great!
Especially if there happens to be a robust wind blowing.
I felt degrated, but i didnt take it personally!

The air on rt2 is so nice i can almost taste it! Never dreamed id see sand dunes here.
The two thoughts going theu my head this morning are that i could not have found a bike better suited to my needs and how little i know about this beautiful country and its people.
Stopped in for breakfast and all of the tables were full. A gut offered to share his table and i discovered he is one of us. A beemer guy riding everywhere. Pretty cool! 300CDBD3-803F-4F18-B42E-422E4F3B607B.jpegAFBB214D-1BE4-4E6D-881A-A35FBF0FC4A9.jpeg574D568C-0F0C-455B-BE00-CF7E9B9C9AA2.jpeg

Score!!!!
$10 shower, running water, three bars! In ironwood wisconsin!
Oooh yaaaa! ( working on my wisconsin slang)Watching out for wood chippers! Rt2 was a great ride. Gonna stay on it for a day or two. Heading northwest tomorrow. Only one speed trap!
Spent hours with no one around!
This is beginning to be fun! Bike is running like a champ.
Ive become dehydrate paranoid and minn has these stops along the highway where you can relieve yourself. I swear i hit every one of them and they are disgusting! From now on, its in the trees!
Hoping the fires and smoke clear in the northwest. Im aiming for neah bay, past seattle. 3C379DD8-FA68-478E-B670-03E3FED9F15F.jpegF516C40B-9320-43E7-9C77-EAAEAD2B0159.jpeg

Trees work well.

Just had a thought, @Stedy .
Please don't post your mileage on the 2021 Mileage Tracker here.
No way I'll keep up this year... 'preciate it, now carry on, and stay safe.
