ST1100 Off-Size Tires (Michelin PR2)?

OK, I'll weigh in. I run an 1100 with Metzler Z6's front and rear. I got about 9k miles out of them, most of that was straight flat roads. The rear actually lasted longer than the front. They are sticky and smooth, with amazing confidence into turns. I actually just put a new set on last weekend, and my two rides this week have been great. Easy, light weight turns, smooth and sticky in corners, and quiet and straight on the road.

Quite a few people are very happy with the Exedras as they do what is required and last, so don't feel alone. They are pretty well impossible to get down here (except for a recent limited batch)so I can't even try them to see if they do get better mileage. A friend just tried some Exedras on his ST11, rear was toast at 7000kms (same as he gets from radials), front is still going strong. A few others are also trying soem I will see how they go.
